Well I have a mixed bag of messages today, primarily because
I was hit with a Trojan Backdoor Virus, and my main computer
has been out of commission for 2 days. I even have McAfee
directly tapping into it to save it – because excluding
my health, almost everything else is on there.
So I’ll start with make sure your virus protection is current,
especially for the spyware stuff. Apparently they are different,
and are handled by different types of protection.
Watch your donwloads. In this industry, we are downloading eBooks,
free reports, mp3s, all the time. I do it all day practically.
These may not be safe, so check them first with your system.
It was asking me “Do you want to open… it could have a virus”
and I ignored it and said yes.
Download from referrals, such as this one, not stuff you seek out
and find yourself, unless you recognize where it is from such as
Dave Taylor, Joel Comm, Dan Kennedy, Matt Bacak, Mike Litman,
the standards.
Backup – I didn’t. I am hoping the security Gods will be able to
recover it. I have various elements backed up, but not a full blown
if I needed to get back up quickly – like now – before I leave for
Singapore, type of backup.
And since I have been surfing because I have no emails I can answer,
and my list will be building by about 50 per hour, I found this cool
tool that I thought I might as well tell you about.

and couldn’t even speak English. I wasn’t convinced, but I downloaded
