Help for BeeKonnected members reach out to Associations, Clubs, Rotary, Groups, Clubs and Non-Profits.
This is broken into 2 major sections:
(1) GETTING THE ASSOCIATION
Here are the steps – so you know what to do next and where to start.
1. Make a list of all associations/groups/chambers/rotaries/nonprofits – you must know TONS – especially look at who are you a
member of already
2. You do a warm reach out to them – see script for that
3. Connect with them – call them – you ask leading questions to get them interested – this is just an INVITE CYCLE
Qualifying Questions:
I’ve been talking to a lot of organizations lately and we have found that membership engagement is down, fundraising is down,
donations are down, sponsorships aren’t seeing the usual return, and without the normal live events general income levels
are low – are you experiencing any of this? (their answer to this will determine need)
If you have one – connect a story to whatever they say.
Ask them if they are open to looking at an innovative solution to help them – that is totally free because they qualify.
Once you get them interested by asking questions – and they are intrigued by the concept you can say “I think it would be
beneficial for me to introduce you to an executive who can go over the program in more detail and answer any questions you have.
Would you like me to do an email introduction for you?”
4. Once interested – you do a warm email introduction to appropriate exec member – see script
At the same time – fill this out so we have good data to work with – Fill Out Association Form
5. The exec will followup and secure the Zoom call with their link, but you make sure a zoom call is scheduled if you don’t see the Association committing to a date and time
6. You show up for the Zoom call and edify and build up the exec so the Association feels honored and served
7. Continue to give them the attention they need until they are ready to enroll
(Repeat all above steps 2-7)
Once you have exhausted the obvious –
8. Then you reach out to people you know – who may know A/G/C/R/Groups that could connect you
(Repeat all above steps 2-7)
Once you have exhausted them –
9. Then you do warm reaches to people on social media you know who are connected to those types of entities
(Repeat all above steps 2-7)
Once you have exhausted them –
10. Then you do warm reaches in social media to people connected – who are connected to you – to those entities
(Repeat all above steps 2-7)
Once you have exhausted all your warm –
11. Then you can start cold reaches – scripts provided
(Repeat all above steps 2-7)
This takes time, numbers, followup, attention, but the pay off is huge. I liken this to being a real estate agent only better – because there is residual income involved.
A real estate agent contacts a lot of people, phones them, emails them, gets referrals, shows a hundred homes, does an open house, and then one day someone buys
something and you get a big fat check. This is like that.

I use this method so I can get in multiple email conversations before the meeting even happens, so I can gather data and move it from cold to warmer rapidly to accelerate the number of touch points. You just switch out the first part for whoever they are designating as the connecting advisor.
