It's Time to Clear your Clutter

It's time to clear your clutter?

Think you don't have any? Think it isn't affecting you?

You'll learn otherwise after this amazing teleseminar with Space Clearing Expert Kathleen Ronald.

There are 16 zones of clutter - and I don't know many 'busy' people who don't have one area that may be affecting them, without them knowing it.

You see, there are 3 very successful actions I did to get to where I am fast.

They were:
1. Mindset
2. Get a Mentor
3. Do what the mentor says

This is the perfect time to do a mindset teleseminar especially because kids are going back to school, businesses are ramping back up, and clutter can accumulate very fast when your lives get busy.

Maybe you're thinking clutter? What clutter?

We are all victims of 16 zones of clutter, and since my kids went back to school 2 weeks ago, and I have knapsacks, papers, binders, school forms, instruments, gym gear, swim gear ... my house started to explode with clutter as kids dumped their stuff everywhere.

Then my desk started to get cluttered.

And it spread like a brushfire.

So I asked my very good friend Kathleen Ronald, who is an expert at clearing your mindset, and your clutter so you can attract abundance into your life.

Her story is remarkable.

Her teaching is life changing.

And for my subscribers, she has waived her $79 fee and made it free.

There are only 200 lines though, so register fast and get on early.

When: Tuesday Sept. 8th at 4:30pm PST

Where: Go here >>> Kathleen Registration

You'll leave with a clearer mind, you'll know which zones you need to address immediately (looked in your garage lately??), and how to attract money now.

Enjoy the journey and see you there.

Celeste Repchuk Wins Lady Gaga Video Contest

Where would we be without our amazing kids some times.

Celeste Repchuk The Winner of Out's Lady Gaga Video Contest

Last week saw three finalists gunning for first place in our Lady Gaga Video Contest and at one time or another each clip held the pole position, but in the end Celeste Repchuk's take on "Just Dance" pulled ahead to claim the win.

A mere 13 years old, Celeste conceptualized, shot, starred in, and edited the video (along with some help from her brothers).

While we're not sure the pop star -- and current Out magazine cover girl -- has seen the winning video, we believe she'd be ecstatic to think she inspired Celeste and she'd certainly be proud of her creativity, ingenuity, and dedication to living the glamorous life.

Congratulations to all three of our finalists.

We'll be sending you your Lady Gaga prize packs soon!

In the mean time, let's have another look at our grand prize winner:

Here is the link to the video on pop.nography's site.

Celeste Repchuk Winning Video Link

Backstory:

celeste repchuk lady gaga video contest winner

It started with Celeste asking me if she could send in a video for a Lady Gaga contest. Thinking to myself sure, as long as it doesn't involve me, I said "Sure Go for it!"

She grabbed the video camera, a boom box, and her brother. And they wandered through every crevace of the house playing the song, changing her outfit, and shooting video. This went on for days. The total time of the video was 3:20. It would take 2 days to shoot a minutes worth, as she would stop the scene and change it every few seconds.

Upon completion, the night before submission, we discover it was for 18 years and older. They need my permission. I send a quick email to give consent, they get permission from their lawyers to accept it, we get word it's good to go.

She makes the Top 3 finalists, and that is where public voting began.

Again, she took the lead and hit her facebook friends - every day. And sure enough - they showed up to give their support.

Great example of tenacity, completing a project, and reaping the rewards.

She won the contest, and the video and information then get sent to Lady Gaga's management team - who will ship the prize pak.

Very proud mom, a daughter that is bursting with excitement and anticipation over what Lady Gaga goodies will arrive, and now she is seeking what project she'll do now. Love it!

HGTV Reveal with a California Fire Backdrop

During the TV shooting for HGTV, as a backdrop was a fire, although 2 hillsides over, left us with poor air quality, reduced visibility, ashes, dust, and 100 foot smoke plumes.

When I first moved to California I could never understand why the hills were so barren and brown. I figured at the time it was heat, never imagining that almost annually hills catch on fire and are scorched barren of vegetation.

Over 85,000 acres, and only 5% contained. 30 miles so far have burned, and as we live on a hill top, fire is an issue for us too.

Thankfully we only have soot on our vehicle every day, and the smoke and clouds are directly behind us - but our hill is not on fire.

I am amazed how fast this fire, now in its 5th day spread. When I think about where I am from, that fire goes from Burlington, ON to Toronto distance wise. That spans 5 cities. At many points, they have to reroute air traffic away from Burbank Airport.
The only planes we hear right now are those dropping water on nearby hills.

Most of the day we are smoke covered, as the 3 digit temperatures and no wind let it hover. No wind isn't great for us, but sure is a blessing for the firefighters which has almost hit the 3000 mark.

Houses, ranches, animals, have burned, deaths have occurred.

Send your prayers to those areas, and be vey grateful for something today.

I know I am.

Smoke Cloud behind our house

Now onto the reveal.

Here are the before shots.

Behind the stove

Floor - this floor was brutal - it was like concrete - I had to put a cement backerboard subfloor - which was the hard part because drilling was wicked - but the rest was easy - except on my knees.

And remember - I did this - not bad for an internet marketer.

Here are the after shots.

Backsplash

Floor

So much fun, it didn't feel like work. Eric Stromer is hilarious, he's like the Robin Williams of carpentry.

Have a great day.

Caroline Lawrence voice of Sandy the Squirrel from Sponge Bob Square Pants is in the House!

Well you'll never guess who dropped by my house today - it was surreal - Sandy the Squirrel from SpongeBob Square Pants - or at least the voice of this cartoon marvel.

Even in their teens my kids still adore the SpongeBob episodes, as do I.

In fact, hate to admit it, but I sleep with a big SpongeBob - much to the shagrin of my husband.

Here she is - picture of Caroline Lawrence and myself.

Such a cute and perky ball of energy, she is as entertaining as the character she plays.

Well we have connected on Twitter - one of the many marvels of social media and living in Los Angeles - and now we have met.

Here is Carolyn Lawrence, Celeste and Caleb Repchuk

Read her story of how she got into this gig and find out more about Carolyn Lawrence - aka Sandy the Squirrel from Sponge Bob Square Pants.

Eric Stromer from HGTV is in the house!

Okay - this week has totally rocked, had to share.

Eric Stromer from HGTV's Clean Sweep, Over Your Head, and so much more, has been helping me learn about home renovations and specifically how to do a tile backsplash and floor.

Check out the picture of me and Eric Stromer - if you get HGTV you'll know him.

I couldn't have picked better help.

I have completed the backsplash, and almost done the floor.

It is so awesome, I have impressed myself.

I even did a V-Cut into a tile in mid air - sweet.

I'll post the reveal this weekend when it's all done.

Jenn Hoffman from Donald Trump's The Apprentice is in the House

Donald Trump said "Your Fired" to Jenn Hoffman on The Apprentice and today she was hanging at my place for lunch.

We're connected on Twitter, and started to get more acquainted when the 7 degrees of seperation kicked in, and you realize you know the same people.

Here is a picture of myself and Jenn Hoffman from Donald Trump's The Apprentice.

As you can imagine from hundreds of thousands of submissions, getting on Donald Trump's The Apprentice is no easy feat.

And since my son played "Young Donald Trump" - in the Movie Trump Unauthorized - we have a habit of being interested in what's happening in the world of Donald Trump.

Follow her on twitter - http://www.twitter.com/jennhoffman

She is also a columnist for OK magazine and has many other fund projects on her agenda.

Have a great week and keep on pushing the envelope.

Why I Love internet Marketing

Maybe it's not internet marketing that I love, but more the lifestyle.

I love that I am always available for my kids, especially this week.

This week was their last week at school, and if a parent had a job, I have no idea how you would pull off supporting your kids at their end of year schedule.

There have been tons of events we have been pulled to all week, but the best for us were my son Caleb Repchuk's music concert. He received a music award as well from this. I wish he played the guitar we bought him, or the keyboards, but alas, he loves the flute.

Then we also had our daughter Celeste Repchuk's theatre event. This was an improv and skit type of event, complete with monologues. This was a very fun evening, my God are some kids talented.

Then the awards event for Grade 8 graduation. I knew my daughter Kennedy Repchuk was intelligent, she reads about 10 big books per week on top of her school schedule - but she really pulled off some greatness. She got the English Award medal of excellence, the California Junior Scholarship Federation Gold Seal Award, Straight A's and the Presidential Award of Excellence, signed by Obama with a letter from the whitehouse. This we will be getting framed.

And last but not least, graduation. Wow they make a fuss about this. The crowd was enormous, band, singing, presentations, very well done. Now maybe this was a Canadian thing but we didn't have a graduation when I finished grade 8 - especially with prom like dresses. We had a dance in the gymnasium, where yet again the final song of the night was Stairway to Heaven.

Kennedy with Celeste heading to graduation

Balloons were everywhere, flowers were a hot item, I did a giraffe stuffie in a car (we call her a Giraffe because she is 13 years old, and is 5'9".) It was so cute. A movie coupon, enough hand made jellie suckers shaped like cute things for her and all her friends, and next week we're off to Las Vegas for a few days with the kids as a celebration. Visit all their favourite places. (We were watching a show the other day and they showed a picture of Vegas, and a kid couldn't guess what that was - my kids couldn't believe there are children that haven't gone there :-)

So now summer vacation begins. Again, why do I love internet marketing and the lifestyle, because I don't have to worry about who will take care of them (I never have, working from home all my life), what they will be doing with their time, we have a number of fun events scheduled because I probably won't work much this summer - pretty much take it off except for some classes I'll teach, and teleseminars I'll give. We will probably head to Canada for a visit with folks, and then enjoy the time that you can never get back with them while they still love to hang out with mom and dad.

Tonight is definitely out for dinner and a movie.

So there's a quick peak at my week, and what I'll be up to.

I will be taking on 3 students only this summer, if you want one on one mentoring with me, and as much as you need, sign up now before all the slots are gone. :)

Caleb Repchuk Young Hollywood Undead

Tracy Repchuk Internet Marketer

So my son Caleb will be appearing in the next Hollywood Undead Music video, playing one of the members as a youth. Check it out:

hollywood undead young caleb repchuk
(Caleb Repchuk with Hollywood Undead - 2nd from the right)

Over 23,000,000 hits to their myspace page, and 300,000 downloads a day, Hollywood Undead, made its name as one of Myspace's all-time most popular bands by posting brash, raucous tracks like the brilliant "Undead." Known to wear mysterious masks in public, Hollywood Undead is an intense live act that plays scorching versions of favorites from its debut album, "Swan Songs," which debuted at #22 on the Billboard charts.

Caleb Repchuk, actor has just completed taping of the music video Young with the explosive heavy metal band which will be launched on Hollywood Undead's tour which is available at Live Nation Hollywood Undead Caleb is playing a youth inspired version of the Hollywood Undead.

Caleb who at the age of 11, is used to playing younger versions of superstars. He was Young Donald Trump in the movie Trump Unauthorized.

The song and video called "Young" is like a George Orwell's 1984 scene. The state is controlled by suppressives, and 6 suburban youths break out of the insidious captor and fight to take back their identities and garner the freedom to think, do and act in a way that promotes peace.

The song contains lyrics such as:

Yes we wave this flag of hatred
But you`re the ones who made it
Watch the beauty of all our lives
Passing right before my eyes
I hear the hate in all your words
All the words to make us hurt.
We get so sick we`re so sick
We never wanted all this
Medication for the kids with no reason to live.

We are young but we have heart
Born in this world as it all falls apart
We are strong
But we don`t belong
Born in this world as it all falls apart

Internet Marketing and the Choices You Make

I received this email, and I don't often pass them forward, but this one was different.

It isn't about internet marketing, but is about choice, humanity, doing something bigger than yourself. Great message, and as you plan your next year, keep a slot open for the next major decision you need to make.

Two Choices

What would you do?....you make the choice. Don't look for a punch line, there isn't one. Read it anyway. My question is: Would you have made the same choice?

At a fundraising dinner for a school that serves children with learning disabilities, the father of one of the students delivered a speech that would never be forgotten by all who attended. After extolling the school and its

dedicated staff, he offered a question:

'When not interfered with by outside influences, everything nature does, is done with perfection.

Yet my son, Shay, cannot learn things as other children do. He cannot understand things as other children do.

Where is the natural order of things in my son?'

The audience was stilled by the query.

The father continued. 'I believe that when a child like Shay, who was mentally and physically disabled comes into the world, an opportunity to realize true human nature presents itself, and it comes in the way other people treat that child.'

Then he told the following story:

Shay and I had walked past a park where some boys Shay knew were playing baseball. Shay asked, 'Do you think they'll let me play?' I knew that most of the boys would not want someone like Shay on their team, but as a father I also understood that if my son were allowed to play, it would give him a much-needed sense of belonging and some confidence to be accepted by others in spite of his handicaps.

I approached one of the boys on the field and asked (not expecting much) if Shay could play. The boy looked around for guidance and said, 'We're losing by six runs and the game is in the eighth inning. I guess he can be on our team and we'll try to put him in to bat in the ninth inning.'

Shay struggled over to the team's bench and, with a broad smile, put on a team shirt. I watched with a small tear in my eye and warmth in my heart. The boys saw my joy at my son being accepted.

In the bottom of the eighth inning, Shay's team scored a few runs but was still behind by three.

In the top of the ninth inning, Shay put on a glove and played in the right field. Even though no hits came his way, he was obviously ecstatic just to be in the game and on the field, grinning from ear to ear as I waved to him from the stands.

In the bottom of the ninth inning, Shay's team scored again.

Now, with two outs and the bases loaded, the potential winning run was on base and Shay was scheduled to be next at bat.

At this juncture, do they let Shay bat and give away their chance to win the game?

Surprisingly, Shay was given the bat. Everyone knew that a hit was all but impossible because Shay didn't even know how to hold the bat properly, much less connect with the ball.

However, as Shay stepped up to the plate, the pitcher, recognizing that the other team was putting winning aside for this moment in Shay's life, moved in a few steps to lob the ball in softly so Shay could at least make contact.

The first pitch came and Shay swung clumsily and missed.

The pitcher again took a few steps forward to toss the ball softly towards Shay.

As the pitch came in, Shay swung at the ball and hit a slow ground ball right back to the pitcher.

The game would now be over.

The pitcher picked up the soft grounder and could have easily thrown the ball to the first baseman.

Shay would have been out and that would have been the end of the game.

Instead, the pitcher threw the ball right over the first baseman's head, out of reach of all team mates.

Everyone from the stands and both teams started yelling, 'Shay, run to first!

Run to first!'

Never in his life had Shay ever run that far, but he made it to first base.

He scampered down the baseline, wide-eyed and startled.

Everyone yelled, 'Run to second, run to second!'

Catching his breath, Shay awkwardly ran towards second, gleaming and struggling to make it to the base.

B y the time Shay rounded towards second base, the right fielder had the ball . the smallest guy on their team who now had his first chance to be the hero for his team.

He could have thrown the ball to the second-baseman for the tag, but he understood the pitcher's intentions so he, too, intentionally threw the ball high and far over the third-baseman's head.

Shay ran toward third base deliriously as the runners ahead of him circled the bases toward home.

All were screaming, 'Shay, Shay, Shay, all the Way Shay'

Shay reached third base because the opposing shortstop ran to help him by turning him in the direction of third base, and shouted, 'Run to third!

Shay, run to third!'

As Shay rounded third, the boys from both teams, and the spectators, were on their feet screaming, 'Shay, run home! Run home!'

Shay ran to home, stepped on the plate, and was cheered as the hero who hit the grand slam and won the game for his team

'That day', said the father softly with tears now rolling down his face, 'the boys from both teams helped bring a piece of true love and humanity into this world'.

Shay didn't make it to another summer. He died that winter, having never forgotten being the hero and making me so happy, and coming home and seeing his Mother tearfully embrace her little hero of the day!

May your choices serve as many as possible.

Jet Set Models Signs Caleb Repchuk

Caleb Repchuk has just signed with Jet Set Kids and 323 Talent Managers. Caleb who moved to Hollywood California from Toronto, Canada where he appeared in campaigns such as Roots and movies such as Trump Unauthorized as Young Donald Trump, was discovered in fairy tale Hollywood style in a restaurant.

Hollywood, CA –

It’s typical Hollywood movie style with Oscar endings and break out roles that garner chances like this, but when Caleb Repchuk was approached by 323 Talent Managers in a restaurant, it started a whole new path.
Within days Caleb was picked up by Lindsay Stewart, Director of the Children's Division at Jet Set Kids, LA’s number one agency for children in the USA. Jet Set Kids regularly work with popular fashion clients such as Ralph Lauren, Vogue, Guess? Kids, David Yurman, GAP Kids and Target. World-renowned photographers such as David LaChapelle, Kimberly Marcyano, Peggy Sirota, Steven Meisel and Anna Palma call on Jet Set Kids to find them the perfect child for their shoots. Jet Set Kids is also credited for discovering Shyann McClure and bringing her to Welch's Grape Juice.
"We spotted him in a restaurant, the age old discovered story, and we weren't even looking for new clients but we had to have Caleb Repchuk on our roster," said Tamara Becket, co-owner of 323 Talent Management.

When Caleb saw his head shot among top-producing kids in Los Angeles on the Jet Set web site, he said, “I was so amazed. When I first arrived I got an agent. But getting a manager and then accepted by Jet Set models, I couldn’t believe it. I had been hoping for something like this, but to have it happen was more than I could have wished for.”

Jet Set Models and 323 Talent Management are thrilled to present Caleb Repchuk as their newest client. For interviews or bookings contact Noreen Savides of 323 Talent Management at 323-428-4000

Disneyland and their Formula for Success

I had the great pleasure of spending a leisurely week with the kids during this Christmas break, and I still made money. My affiliate programs were operating, emails were going out, and campaigns were launching - all without me being there.

I didn't even take my computer, or do any emails.

But as I planned our excursion around the happiest place on earth (although I did see a lot of crying infants and toddler melt downs while I was there) - it is a well-oiled machine from the way you got into the parking lot, to tram, monorail and rides.

The wait times were long, but we always made sure we had a fast pass for any ride we could. So we got one for Space Mountain, Indiana Jones, Autopia and Buzz Lightyear.

They have it so you have to wait a few hours before you can get another one though - streamlining the queues.

We would eat while we lined up. Long lines up for every ride, so you need to be a packing genius if you have kids. You need food, drink, jackets for night time, the works. It's like planning for an Internet Marketing launch. Good planning, produces good results. We each had a back pack full of goodies, and would buy food when necessary at lunch and dinner, but kept snacking to our own stuff - saves you tons of money for other things - such as a nearby hotel for easy getaways.

My favourite rides were Pirates of the Carribbean and Small World.

My kids would say Space Mountain and Indiana Jones.

Rides not worth the wait - Splash Mountain - Universal Studios beats this - not steep enough - although you get really wet - which is fun on a hot day, because there aren't a lot of areas that cool you down. I can't imagine going here in the summer - you would melt.

My kids managed to do the tea cups while we waited for Alice in Wonderland - again a good ride for the little ones, 8 and under. It was too tame for my gang.

Autopia where the kids get to drive - horrible smell of fumes and gasoline. I could never work there. Waiting in the line was crazy enough. Nice track, good length, but Ontario Place has a better track where you operate the car free form - no track - so my kids thought this was a bit lame.

Monorail - wasn't the 'tour' I was hoping it was. Skip it.

Parade was pretty, fireworks were awesome and totally worth seeing.

But of course what stands out most is how they operate, keep the place clean, and by God are they genius at marketing products. Every ride had a store that went along with it - and the products were flying off the shelves. No carnival gimmicks, straight formula-based marketing with statistics tracking at every register.

That is why they were able to repeat the formula around the world with similar results, and that is what your goal is for your internet marketing business. Even with the Disney food price gouging and high-priced trinkets - people were after the full experience - because that makes it complete.

If you follow a formula that has been proven to work, and work it - then once you have the foundation in place, you can repeat it for every idea.

So start to make your own little 'Happiest place on earth' empire, and if you need help along the way, I am starting a new class on January 23rd for my JV Coaching Club full mentor program - so REGISTER TODAY - and get your foundation in place!

Are You Gambling With Your Dreams?

Do you ever wonder why some people seem to have their dreams come true, and yours don't?

After having an up and down journey that varied between getting my dreams, and not, and getting a dream, and not, I realized that at the point I got my dreams, I was willing to take a gamble. I was willing to risk something, and go beyond my comfort zone. I took a leap of faith in most cases, and it always paid off.

So what better place to end this particular road trip then Las Vegas - the world's best place to gamble. Now I'm not a gambler of chance games per say, but a few bucks here and there never hurt anyone.

We ate at the Flamingo, saw the Bellagio water show 3 times, toured the M&M factory, then we set off for home.

I love this place for the lights, excitement, and the fact that it never sleeps.

Reminds me of Internet Marketing.

Getting Your Life Out of the Dinosaur Era

The next days of my Internet Marketing lifestyle while I gathered photos for my magazine Poetry Canada included a trip to Edmonton, Alberta - where of course we went to the West Edmonton Mall.

And, the next day after that was Drumheller, Alberta, home of the Dinosaur digs and the Royal Tyrrell Museum.

This place was a Ripley's. I have never seen so many cars, and tourists at a museum, and I have been to the Louvre, MOMA, and many in Italy. This place packed them in fast and furious. It contains all the dinosaur remains they have discovered and dug so far. Incredible. At $30 to get in for our family, they were raking it in. I have never seen a crowd like that for a museum.

Worth doing though. Then we drove to see the Hoodoos (small versions of Arizona rock formations), cute, but not the Grand Canyon.

Seeing the success of the museum, and the dinosaurs made me think that you can't live life in the past, but you sure can use it for your benefit in the future. So next time you think something is holding you back, either use it, or get rid of it.

Do You Dream of Making Money While You Sleep?

So did I, and now it is a reality!

The making money while you relax part sets in over the next week, and I get to test out some of my affiliate relationships, and the power of my list. I have queued emails while I am away, and will let them do their thing.

This portion of my post is about fun, fun, fun, and the joys of the internet marketing lifestyle. For the first time, since I have been self-employed from the age of 19, I will make money, without doing anything. Sweet.

So while I do that, here are some great pictures I took of where I went, that will be used in future editions of Poetry Canada magazine.

Kelly's Bath in Hinton, Alberta. If you have never been it is beautiful. We did a picnic and play here. Threw around the football, roasted hot dogs on an open fire, and swam in a still and quiet lake. Perfect weather for Alberta, and we were glad of it. If you can see the little inlet across the way, my 11 year old daughter swam to that.

Next day was a big hike we did in Jaspar. We hiked to a glacier fed lake, my kids actually went in it with bare feet. It was perishing cold.

Then we hiked up about 6000 feet to the top of a mountain to the snowy area, and we all played in snow. This is my idea of snow - visiting it when I want to.

That evening we ended with a visit to Miette Hotsprings. It has 4 big pools, 2 fed by glacier, 2 fed by hot springs. Very nice and relaxing and invigorating. I went in all 4.

Hope it wasn't too boring, and you enjoyed seeing what your life will soon be like once you get your earning on autopilot.

Tracy Repchuk Rocks Vancouver AOC Show

Returning to my roots, I went to a software tradeshow that my company has participated in for 10 years. This was the first year I went and presented my new business - Internet marketing.

The room was packed, and I have the whole presentation on tape. I am going to post portions of it on YouTube.

I however, had to pack in a 90 minute presentation, into 35 minutes. I had split the presentation slot with my husband and partner, who presented our software solutions. RemoteDesk Software

The comments and feedback I got were awesome, and it was interesting to see how people who had only ever used the internet for a flat brochure type site, reacted to the world of Internet Marketing. They were fascinated and terrified at the same time.

Because they didn't have time to order my book 31 Days to Millionaire Marketing Miracles I took 20 copies with me, and they sold out before I even got to my presentation slot.
The night before there was a 2 hour meet-and-greet, and from my 3 minute presentation the day before, they were ready to get introduced to the wonderful world of Internet Marketing.

There was a queue to have me sign the books. People that had bought on the book launch, even brought their copies to be signed. That was fun!

Overall it was a great show, and we reconnected with our software dealers and became a good contact for their migration to Internet Marketing.

I'll be posting more pictures of our trip, which is part business, and some personal.

Tracy Repchuk Marketing Makeover Maestro On The Road

I am driving to a tradeshow I am presenting at in Vancouver, and I am really looking forward to it.

I don't know if you're like me, but I love to see the country, see the sites, and take the scenic route where ever I go.

Since I hadn't driven up the West coast, as a new arrival from Toronto, Canada to Burbank, CA. it was time to take to the roads.

The whole family came as my 3 kids would check out the sites of Vancouver, at least the beach, street and movie theatre our hotel was located beside (Coast Hotel), and my husband/partner would be working the show for software sales, while I introduced the crowd to Internet Marketing like they have never seen it.

The drive was wonderful. We drove up the West Coast, for the kids this is the first time. We drove along the coast and went over the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, and it was so beautiful. That drive along there was spectacular.

We spent our first night in Northern California, and the next night was in Oregon along the water, and the third night was in Washington - we went to Burlington, WA because they had good outlets there. Tomorrow we'll head over the border (my first time returning to Canada since the move).

Here is a shot along our way. What is really cool is all of the time I spent on photography, I will be using the pictures for my magazine - Poetry Canada. Perfect for the next edition.
You'll be able to see which one I pick for the front cover.

I have a private gallery where I will post most of the pictures I took. If you want to see it, let me know and I'll get you the link.

Have a great day.

Shakespeare, Marketing and Charitable Thoughts

Last night I went to this great production of Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Nights Dream", in Barnedall Park in Hollywood, CA.

The best thing of all, it was free.

Spectacular actors did this production proud (I had seen it before by professionals at the Stratford Festival, and this rivaled that acting wise.

It was a beautiful outdoor setting, complete with bring your own picnic dinners. It was like dinner theatre without the decor.

And then after the production, they did what all internet marketers do, and that is deliver in abundance, gain your trust, and then up the ante on your next purchase. It was a live market funnel in action, where you could simply take your 'free' gift and go, or donate before you left, and reserve your spot for the next production - which I believe is King Richard II and Macbeth (one of my favorites).

So like a consumer very used to this strategy, I got upselled, and I made my donation for this production and the next. It was fantastic value for money, and I would highly recommend anyone in the area take advantage of attending, because you will be blown away by the quality, and the price!

The only thing they could have added was cross sold, by providing literature for the surrounding activities (there were art classes and other events going on), but as far as their original objectives, deliver in abundance and upsell, this was a success, and I wish them many, many more.

If you are looking to donate to a cause that is improving the aestethics in the Los Angeles area, and allowing anyone to see the works of Shakespeare, this is a great company to support. You can donate anything, and you get your name on their internet and in a magazine. Nice bit of recognition really. I have mailed my cheque in, so I am sure you'll see me up there soon too.

Have an awesome week-end, and look around to see what marketing ideas you recognize, and can use in your business.

What do Tracy Repchuk, Bodhi Elfman and Marisol Nichols all have in Common?

They're about to appear in the same movie.

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to tell you a bit about what I did last night, which was something wild and unusual.

I was challenged at a "Greatness Nation Call" on Friday, and it
was everyone should do something different this weekend.

So I set out to do just that. And lo and behold, didn't we get
an email from the award-winning director Taron Lexton and he
needed some extras for a short film he was shooting that night.
(My husband had just returned from an artists convention on
a Carribean Cruise where his room mate was Taron Lexton)
Se we said sure, and showed up to the location, along with Bodhi
Elfman and Marisol Nichols. We started filming at 10:30 pm,
and ended Saturday morning at 6:30am. Long night of pretending
to eat pasta all night.

It was a restaurant short, and we were the table next to them. This
will be submitted to the film festivals, in which his last submission
garnered him 14 awards.

In this picture, you can see the director Taron getting moved
by a dolly. They built this track around the table for the
first part of the shoots, and this guy pushes him around for
a smooth shot. You can see my husband Dave as well, and
Marisol Nichols star of Big Momma's House with Martin Lawrence,
Vegas Vacation with Chevy Chase, and many TV lead roles.

This is a shot of Bodhi Elfman, husband of Jenna Elfman. He has over 61
credits to his name including movies such as Collateral, and shows such
as Las Vegas, Charmed, ER, Without a Trace, and more.

For the second part the track was removed and all sorts of
fun things went on. I'm not going to ruin it for you though,
because at some point I'll be able to link you to the finished
product. Here is Marisol Nichols and Bodhi Elfman.

This is me at 5:00am.

Not much internet marketing going on, but with an upcoming June 30th, actor empire building seminar, and a featured speaking appearance on Wednesday June 27th, it was a great place to promote.

The Key to Success

Since becoming a bestselling author, a lot has changed in a very short time. So many people are coming to me for advice. How do I do this?? What would you do? And then there is the kind words of Congratulations, and you inspire me, and I know I can do it now.

This changes how you proceed with the next moments of your life when things like this happen, and you realize you are reaching people, and they are listening. It increases the responsibility you have to make sure they get the messages they need to hear.

The other interesting thing is the diversity of my followers (or listeners), is astounding. When you have a message, people take the pieces they need, and niche themselves into what you are saying by taking what is specific to them. It is remarkable really. For example - the general message from my book "31 Days to Millionaire Marketing Miracles" was about taking a step by step approach to building your fortune, and providing you with the stability you need to remain focused and accomplish the task. Pretty basic for the business conscious person who is looking for a way through.

But along the way I inspired and gave hope to the thousands of people I am in contact with that have a dream. They know someone who made it.
I motivated, because I showed them it doesn't take forever if you do it, and make it happen. I went from picking up my pen and writing, to a bestseller in 60 days. It sounds too good to be true, but it is a fact. So what that says to everyone out there who is in the 4th year of completing that manuscript is one of my favourite lines now and that is "You don't have to get it right, you just have to get it going"

This is a great way to live. Keep moving forward always, and improve along the way, because if you have something to say that needs to be said, you are better to get it out there then wait for that perfect moment, situation, book cover, layout, design, month, whatever the reason for your delay is, and just get it out there.

Then once you do, simply continue to improve it.

And if you're an author, make sure you start to educate yourself on the art of bookselling - only don't turn to the traditional methods - find out more about internet marketing, Amazon bestseller strategies, virtual booktours, and teleseminars.

Build your audience from the comfort of your own home.

I have a coaching program for creating a bestselling book, if you're interested be sure to contact me, as I only have 2 spots left.
Send an email to: tracy@innersurf.com

Have a wonderful day, and keep getting your message out, and increasing your wealth, because what you have to say is unique, invaluable, and worth every penny.

Seven Steps to a Successful Divorce

Hey everyone,

Today's posting is a little different. I recently met a woman who had gone through a horrible divorce, and because our personal lives touch so intimately into our business lives, when she told me she had written a book to help others who have experienced this, I wanted to help.

I wanted to help, not just because it is an important topic, but because I went through a horrible divorce when I was young. For those of you who don't know my story, I started my first company while I was still in college at the age of 19, in 1985. Together with my college boyfriend, we planned our life together. I had made the big leagues by time I was 22 years old, driving my BMW, buying properties, extravagent vacations, Mercedes, the works. And then, we got engaged, but it's not what you're thinking. Because 2 weeks before the wedding, he called it off. He was with someone else, and she had gotten pregnant, and he was going to marry her. I had to work side-by-side through agony and heart ache, and watched him with her, while I still loved him. But the pain did not stop there. I did something foolish, and that was start to see someone who was clearly not right for me. And then yes, in June of 1989, we got married, while I was still reeling from this original devastation.

That is where my problems began, because within the very short 9 months we were married, after it was clear he had a temper, it took me almost 4 years to get a divorce, cost me thousands and thousands, as he fought for every ounce that he could get out of me, emptied our personal bank account, emptied the house of the furniture while I was at work (he had just graduated as an Engineer so hadn't established his own career yet), and then he came after my company.

But, that wasn't the hard part. It all came tumbling down on me with the full fury of a tsunami, when during all of this, running a company, watching my ex-fiance with his new wife and daughter, the wife wanted me out of the company. So, the locks to my business were changed, my business credit cards were cut off, and he tried to keep me away from my company. I had 2 men vying for my company at the same time.

So what was I to do? Well after months of trying to determine what had he done to the company that he wanted me to stay away, I discovered that it was $100,000 in debt, and still owed over $200,000 in deliverable custom programming projects, most of which all the money had been collected, and no work had occured. Now what - right? Well, here's what I did. I got a loan for $80,000 and bought him out. I brought in a partner, which has now been my husband for 15 years, and pulled that company out of bankruptcy, restored our credit, delivered all of the projects with no funding to pay for them, and started again. While he moved directly across the street, doing the same thing, and stole all of my staff.

So what is the moral of my story? It could be many things, but today, it is about getting the support and guidance you need when things are falling apart.

Fun post - Kids sign with MSA

Just a fun note I wanted to share with everyone - we have only been in California for about 6 weeks, and are loving it. We moved from Toronto, which right now is much colder than I like.

Since our arrival all 3 of our kids (who are actors) have been picked up by McDonald Selznick Associates. We had interviewed quite a few agents, but these guys are warm and caring with the kids, yet aggressive in the market - where it should be. Many agents can be aggressive on all levels, and in this case, we chose one that fits within our demeanor.

Wanted to share a press release that just went out about my son Caleb - who just completed the filming of a cool car commercial for a European car called Opel. It was really high tech, and will come out in Europe in March 2007, and should also appear on the internet as well, as it was a world-wide rights commercial. He will also be appearing soon on a Time Warner Internet US National commercial, and a PSA.

You can check it out at: Press Release

Well I hope your day is wonderful, and all your dreams come true too.

Have a great day.
