Internet Marketing Listbuilding Strategies Revealed

Day 2 - started out really slow. Doors opened up at 9am, Mark Anastasi opened the show again with more great information on email marketing.

It went from 480 standing room only, spilling out of the room, to 90.

By 10am though, it was much better, about 274, so I had a great crowd to work with. Seems the natural transportation - the tube - runs infrequently, unlike every few minutes on the weekdays.

Tracy Repchuk - Live from the UK on Ultimate Listbuilding Strategies

Wow - what a day - the room housed 400 people, and it was overflowing by 9am.

They were standing by 10am, and it was clear this room was not going to house the conference - so another well done by Mark Anastasi.

I speak tomorrow, so am looking forward to a similar crowd, because for a Friday, this turnout is remarkable. Interesting thing to note - 95% men, 5% women - which I actually expected. Women don't think listbuilding, they think relationships.

We were close to being shut down for fire hazard. I can already see a strategy I was going to use, would be tough in this room logistically. They were packed in like sardines.

It started off with Mark Anastasi preparing the crowd for an entrepreneurial mindset versus the job mentality.
He is a great crowd warmer, and had them relaxed, and ready to go.

Here are some secrets he shared:

1. Get a mentor and copy a formula - of this I of course totally agree.
The reason I am where I am, is because of my mentors, and the formulas they taught me.
I followed them, and they worked.

2. The more you invest in yourself, the more you earn, providing what you are learning is not how to work, but how to leverage what you have

3. Money is the value you create for other people. Add more value to more people, not just show up. Give people what they want.

4. Business is an interface between your value and your target market

This opened the door for Chuck Mallaney - who was talking about Financial Freedom through list building

Chuck runs a social media system called www.jvme.com. Check it out.

Then it was time for the 'rock star' Simon Leung with his Google Update.

The day ended with Steven Essa - on webinar srategies and how to make money from them. Webinars are one of my favourite strategies too.

Internet Marketing 2010 Starter Steps

After getting back from the Internet Marketers Vacations Cruise, and meeting with my Dream Team Mastermind members, I started to go through me extensive live of things to do, and things to check out.

I can't share everything - there were 200 items that came off the cruise - most were websites and things to do to take your business to the next level - and we were sworn to 'secrecy' to keep that list for cruisers only.

But I can tell you what I did when I got back.

Step 1 - Bought myself a MacBook Pro. I have walked away from Windows. With 8 computers in my office, it was something I had been considering for a year, but was always hesitant as to how it was going to work.

My issues were time frame to learn the Mac, getting my data over, and integration with the office.

But the Mac books were prominent, and those on board raved about the ease of conversion, and the fact that once you go Mac, you never go Back.

I needed a new PC anyway, we already bought another WIndows 7.0 PC, and it was like starting again. So I figured once and for all, any effort was going towards the sexy, fast, fun, laptop, that would be easy to do video - which is a 2010 item for me - more video.

I have now had the PC for about a week - and most of my stuff is over, and I am so excited about learning some of the video apps which come with the system. But since I am heading to the UK - no time to play - I have loaded Keynote - The Mac version of Powerpoint, loaded my presentation, adjusted what had to be corrected font wise. Then I loaded my presentation into Pages - the Mac version of Word - and have started with that.

I am excited and eager to get into the 'goodies' of this machine, but for now will just learn the basics - because - I bought some other things that were recommended too.

Step 2 - Bought the LiveScribe Pen - this is amazing. You write, it records, it transfers to your computer, you can easily recall notes, transcribe to different languages, play piano on paper, it is hilarious. I am a big note taker at events, primarily they are all on paper because my laptop battery on my old PC sucked - so I always hand wrote. Now with hand written notes, I can avoid the retype and go right to my laptop. SWEEET. I have learned the basics, that's about it for now.

Step 3- Bought the iphone - in fact 4 of them, one for me and 3 for my kids. They were over the moon, so excited, happy, ecstatic, and even while in the store we were texting each other and laughing. I never jumped on the trend before, because I rarely talk on the phone. But when I realized I could have unlimited internet surfing and texting, we were on board - and have heavily used the feature already. I can surf in the car while my husband drives. I can surf and do emails at my sons auditions. I can watch videos and listen to itunes when I'm waiting in a boring line up for something. This has already been a blast. The monthly bill isn't so hot, but I can imagine our phone minutes will be rolling over month after month.

Step 4 - Go over the rest of my list when I get back. As I do things, I'll let you know, and give you the results as things unfold.

I have given myself a steep learning curve buying 3 new pieces of technology before I leave for UK and Ireland, but in the long run, I think it will benefit my business objectives for 2010.

When I get the screenflow - Mac version of Camtasia installed and figured out - then I'll demonstrate some of the stuff I have been learning.

Internet Marketers Cruise - The Bus Ride Back

Well it was up very early, dark still, and we were already in port. I put on what my kids call "The Front of the boat channel", because you can watch what is happening from the front of the boat.

I could see buses rolling in to take care of the 3500 people that will be disembarking.

I figure we'll forego breakfast and get off the ship quickly to catch the first bus back. (Not a great decision since the first bus didn't leave until 9:30am).

But the bus ride back was bitter sweet. Our last good byes, reminiscing of the places we went, and saying farewell to many people I just met, and many that I only see on the Internet Marketers Cruise once a year.

Internet Marketers Vacations - Mike Filsaime's Farewell night

As we go past Cuba again on our way back to Port Canaveral Florida, it is cold, and sometimes wet.

The day started with 5 of us presenting to the entire group of internet marketers. Ther was Joel Thierren (www.InternetMarketingISP.com - KIOSK), Tracy Repchuk, Eelco De Boor, Ross Goldberg, and Willie Crawford.

Then I grabbed a quick bite, and my Dream Team Mastermind Members got together.

We addressed each members needs, plus got them organized for the next year with plans and strategies and things to get done first.

It was very fruitful, and a great way to start the year.

I of course have my mastermind coach running me through the same thing.

Then we spent some time packing, and how we ended up with more stuff, when we practically bought nothing was amazing. It was probably all the 'warm clothing' we had to get, and the fact my son had 5 pairs of shoes (2 of them new), and my daughter brought her full warddrobe.

It was great meeting Tim, Yanik Silver's partner in Maverick Business - it looks like a fun group of people.

By time we finished dinner and was saying our good byes, it was already late. We still had some packing to do, and were among the first off the boat at 7:30am - as we had a flight out, and it was still an hour drive to the airport.

So for us it was a relatively early night, as we bid farewell to an amazing fun cruise.

Internet Marketers Vacations Cruise - Costa Mesa

Internet Marketers Vacations - Destination Costa Mesa

At last a beautiful sunny day.

We docked early, and we got off as soon as we could because we had to be back by 2:30pm. The dock area was gorgeous, tons of stores, places to eat, and a bar with a pool right in the middle. You could really have fun there if you wanted to (which many did :))

We did a trip that day, which took us to a beach, then a boat ride to a snorkel area, and more beach - which included the lounge chairs, and kayaks. It was a fantastic day, and I saw a Sting Ray, star fish, many beautiful fish, eels and other sea creatures. So vivid and clear.

It was the first times Kennedy, Celeste and Caleb snorkeled off a boat. They loved it.

We came back into shore to run into Robert Puddy.

We did the beach, kayaking, and then my daughter went for a swim, and got stung on her hand by a sea urchin. It swelled up, turned blue, and you could see the spikes in her fingers. There was nothing anyone could do, so we soaked it in salt water on the beach. After a couple of hours the swelling went down, but you could see the spikes clearly (which we were told not to pick out), and it was red and still hurt she said.

We took a cab back to the dock, shopped, ran into a bunch of people, and made it back to the boat just in time. 2:30 was way too early for such a fun port.

Another night of networking, eating, and enjoying friends such as Emma Tiebens, Irene Denver, Elizabeth Chung, Jason Henderson, Simon, Max Action, and more. Also caught up with Ross Goldberg who is at Stompernet now.

A day at sea tomorrow, and another sail by Cuba. Our sail out we discovered was so rough because of the earthquakes in Haiti. It was horrific what happened to them, and even on the ship we were being kept up to date on the status.

There was even an earthquake in California, but because of the Haiti quakes and after math, it was barely noticed unless you were in it (which some of our friends were).

Mike Filsaime has spoken more than ever on this cruise, it was pretty cool.

We also had a special dinner in the Chef's Art tonight with Jenny Armoto, Paul, Mike Filsaime, Donna Fox, Captain Lou, Warren Whitlock, Paulie Sabol, it was amazing food (I had lobster, escargot, and 2 desserts), and conversation.

We went back to the room late, our kids showed up shortly after us - my daughter Celeste has been hanging out with Tyler Bacak (Matt Bacak's daughter), so she has been enjoying herself. Apparently the club on the ship for teens is pretty good. Our camera is certainly full of stuff they did. :)

Tomorrow is an at sea day so I will be presenting to all of the internet marketers, and will then have a mastermind with my Dream Team members, and then we'll meet up again at a farewell networking event.

Boy it has gone fast.

Internet Marketers Vacations - Belize

Internet Marketers Vacations - Destination Belize

Ah the weather... it isn't raining, but it is cold.

We docked at 6:15am, and the ship opened up at 7am for disembarking, but it was cold and cloudy - so we didn't rush off. We got up late, and left about 10am. The issue with this island is we have to stay in the water, and tender a boat to the dock. There are 5 other boats here, approximately 12,000 people hit the island, and were getting ferried across all at once. Wild.

The boat ride was great, but there was nothing in Belize.
The town was very poor, the people begging in the streets, and the prices geared for tourists. We did a historic tour, then went back to the ship.

The return time was 2:30 anyway - it was an early return. So we did the water slide on the boat, and watched the movie "Earth" on the largest jumbo tron outside movie screen on the seas. It was amazing. Later they had Micheal Jackson's "This is It". Then we had a networking event, dinner, and fun.

Tomorrow is Costa Mesa - come on sunshine.

Internet Marketers Vacatons - Cruise with Tracy Repchu

Internet Marketers Vacations - Destination Isla Roatan

Prior to this trip, I had never heard of Roatan.

Another fun night, and early morning. We hadn't booked an official excursion, and I was glad because it was cold and rainy, with intervals of sunshine.

We rented a 10 person van, and a guide for the day. What a great way to see the island. We were in charge, we drove, but the guide would answer all of our questions, and tell us where the 'real inside scoop' hot spots were.

We did the entire island.

Our tour guides name was Grace - she was so great. If you ever go to Roatan, request her. She is just outside the gates in a white building, or simply rent a car and request her.

We head up the east coast, and ended up at a condo vacation resort. It was a great area, the condos were gorgeous, the area was great too. Would love to buy one - I left my details to see how it works.

Then while we were there, there were 4 women sitting at a table, and they flagged us over frantically. Apparently they had rented a taxi, and the taxi left them, and was not coming back. They were about 30 miles from where there boat docked, and they had to catch a ferry to get aboard. They were on the Norwegian Jewel, which was also on the opposite side of the island to where we were.

So we said we would take them to their boat - we had the space.

We headed back down the coast, and stopped at the monkey farm.

It was so fantastic. We got to hold, hug and feed monkeys. My daughter Celeste was officially in heaven. There were pretty birds there as well, but not as tame as the monkeys were.

Then we continued down, and went to the beach for a while. The kids snorkeled, they said it was fantastic, while we got acquainted with the women and Grace our guide.

There was a tax lawyer, a hair dresser, a real estate agent, and I forgot what the other did. Grace told us how she had no hot water, raised 5 kids, has 6 grand kids, and lives in a shack. By the looks of it - most people did. I can't imagine taking showers that were cold, from a bucket.

We completed our beach fun, dropped the girls at their ship, and booted it back to the other side of the island to ours. The first horn blow of the ship went, warning us that was the boarding time - and we ran to get on just in time.

There were a few more stragglers behind us, who got stopped and reprimanded for being late, boarded, and then we left. The Norwegian was headed to the same place - Belize.

They took the group photo for the internet marketers, (which we didn't know about so wasn't in), had dinner, and the same thing - networking, fun, kids out late, and us all catching up.

The weather had been rough so far, we have high hopes for Belize.

(Although my husband who had already been before said there was nothing there - we would see soon.)

Got to also catch up with Matt Bacak - who we ran into at the monkey park with his 3 kids, and wife too, plus Joel Thierrion (who runs one of our hosting providers.)

Plus made a pile of new friends. Saw Simon Leung, Max Action (Matt Adams), and caught up with Jenny Armato and her husband Paul.

Tomorrow is Belize - pray for sun :)

Internet Marketers Vacations with Tracy Repchuk - Cozumel

Internet Marketers Vacations - The Inside Scoop.

We docked into our first port - Cozumel.

It was cold, very little sunshine, and those that booked a diving trip were cancelled.

We rented an open air jeep, and drove around the entire island. That was a lot of fun. We stopped in at beaches, the downtown area, and then went to see the Mayan Ruins.

These were hilarious from a marketing perspective - it was a real life physical upsell.

The cost to get in was $3 each. So you walk in, there were a few shops, a place to get a drink, and a bathroom. You walk another 50 feet, and there was another hut. Oh, you want to see the ruins - that was another $3.75. It was hilarious.

So we paid the money, and went and saw the ruins. When I get a chance, I will upload pictures too.

The internet connection on the ship is abysmal. You can't deal with anything but quick text blasts.

We did a few beaches, and then headed back to the ship.

Overall a nice place, and if it was sunny, a great snorkel and beach destination.

Back on the ship it was another amazing supper, and the night life.

The difference now is my kids have joined a club called the Circle C - and are now hanging around the other kids on the ship. They come back about 1am. Despite the weather they are already glad we came.

Sweet mother of God - loading the ship this year was brutal. It was freeeeeeezing in Orlando. We had brought very little warm clothing, just a jacket, but it was sleet, rain, 40 degrees and windy.

Thank God we were VIPs. We got to go to the short line, got into the building quickly (as others froze outside upwards of an hour), got taken to a lovely little office with fruit and chocolates (while others lined up for ages), and then given our tickets and boarded the ship.

We went up to our penthouse suite, and when we got into it there was one bed (and 5 of us). WTH. We searched frantically for guidance, a concierge, a phone number, and at last as a steward was passing we asked if this was the penthouse, and he said it was the largest room on the ship.

OMG - really. So that was it. There was a pull out bed, but when you pay almost $10,000 - you think more than a king bed, and bathroom, and a pull out couch. Apparently on a ship - not.

So if you are traveling with your family and are used to sticking together - you will need to buy separate suites. (which we will do next year).

We left our luggage and went upstairs to deck 10 to eat. It was buffet style, so there were long line ups and searching for a table was chaos (because usually we simply go outside onto a deck chair, or table out there - but it was too cold). Food was great as usual though. Last year we saw internet marketers immediately, but this year the boat housed 3500 people so it was very busy.

We had a meeting at 7pm before our supper at 8:15pm.

At 8:15 we went in to our assigned tables, and the fun began.

Dinner was spectacular.

My kids head up to the room about 11pm, and we were later than that.

Tomorrow is Day 1 at sea - so we will start with a mastermind session with all the internet marketers, and in the afternoon I'll have one with my own team.

Weather still sucks, but we'll be busy.
Seas are a bit rough - we are all fine - but my son is a bit delicate.

Another exciting year is about to begin as we are about to embark
on the Carnival Cruise Dream. This year 468 internet marketers are gathering at sea to network, learn, mastermind, and have fun.

We spent our first night in Orlando at the Four Points Sheraton, with a welcome reception. It was great to see faces of people we haven't seen in some cases since the last cruise.

As soon as I got off the airport bus, there was Robert Puddy, Soren Jordensen, and Cindy Battye. Into the door was John Walker (Jeff Walker's brother - Product Launch Formula and Product Launch Manager), Donna Fox, Jason Henderson (Big Jason), Captain Lou, Mike Filsaime, Tom Beal, and many more.

Orlando was freezing though. It was cold, rainy, windy, and we hoped for better weather when we depart tomorrow to Port Canaveral where the boat will embark.

Why I almost had to Leave Internet Marketing by Tracy Repchuk

Why I almost had to leave Internet Marketing...

It was about to be Internet Marketing from Scratch - Again

And to tell you the truth, I was embarrassed to share it originally.

I discovered on Thurday January 3rd that my main site www.Marketing-Makeover-Miracles.com was down. No big deal right, it's just one site.

No - it is the hinge that ties my 200 sites together - let me tell you why I had to follow my own advice faster than ever.

For those of you who hadn't heard from me in 5 days, which would be everyone on my list, we were told from our hosting provider they were compromised, they used words like hacked, terrorists, and indicated everything was gone.

That means my lists - over 15,000 contacts, all clients.

Literally without that list - I had no business.

I don't think I realized how dependant I was on my list. I knew it generated me money, but forgot it held all of my clients, all of my purchasers, everything.

No way to make money, get in touch with anyone, in other words, I was starting again.

It was 5 full days - and not only did we not hear from them, the main phone number on the hosting site, was out of service.

Lessons learned that I hope you can benefit from:

- use a third party such as Aweber. I originally followed the advice of my mentor Matt Bacak and used autoresponse plus. Benefits are unlimited lists, pay once. Bad points and what I am experiencing now - prone to security breech. The host was also a suggestion as well, I believe it is now time to change - because it wasn't cheap, and now it has been breeched.

- Backup the list myself every week - kind of like closing the barn doors after the horses have left - but they reported they had no access to recover the lists, and I had no back end access to try to get the data myself.

- Keep your domain names at a seperate location from where you host - if I had transferred those few domains that reside there (my other 200 sites are elsewhere), I could be redirecting, and the only loss is my list, but the site would still be building.

So why was it so devastating at the moment....

1. No list - no backup - no idea who my clients were - especially those that had paid me to directly mentor them - ultimately no business

2. That site - www.marketing-makeover-miracles.com was down - which meant my autresponder was down, and all 200 other landing pages, and sites - link to that site/location to access the autoresponder.

3. It would have meant starting from scratch with Aweber, and changing every single landing page autoresponder link with new code to go to aweber

4. The work involved in doing this, was enormous. The time long. And the result, sites back where they were - no forward motion.

5. I was away. I couldn't believe it. The access to my materials, sites, everything was done from my master computer and I just had my laptop - so the parts I needed, weren't accessible. And to make it worse, after being in Canada, I was heading straight to the internet marketers cruise, then to the UK, then to Ireland. I am gone until mid February. Really... This had to happen now!

My year started with an amazing sales and marketing plan, all raring to go - and my business is destroyed - non existent.

I was asked by my kids who of course saw what was happening (they are home schooled via the internet so they saw from my husband's perspective what was going on.)

So they skyped me - "What are you going to do?"

What was interesting, is you really have the choice at that moment to do anything you want. Do I want to continue to be in internet marketing? Do I want to be just an author? A scriptwriter? Go to the theatre? Become just a speaker, not a platform speaker? What did I want to do?

It was a reboot moment.

Fresh start.... So what did I want that fresh start to be?

Internet Marketing - how cool is that!

Even with the massive hurdle. The collapse of what I had built. The string of errors that caused me to not have a sufficient backup. The reliance I held with the hosting provider, and what that cost me. I want to be an internet marketer.

In fact, starting again didn't even scare me.

I know what I am doing. I know exactly the steps needed to start again. I know how to list build. So I am here to start again.

It is a wild and crazy adventure into which I am standing at the front door, ready to quantum leap my way back in business.

It was massively empowering to know that the real power of my business, is me :)

Happy New Year 2010

Happy New Year everyone - may 2010 be the most amazing and wonderful journey towards your financial freedom and fulfillment of your dreams to reality.

I have left the comforts of California to return to Toronto Canada and visit family this Christmas season. We flew United Airways shortly after the attempted attack in Detroit. We were warned to come early, as the security would be increased, and all sorts of new rules would be implemented. I was traveling with my son Caleb, so right off the bat I thought I would be impacted, but it was smooth sailing, and no problems the whole way.

We spent a few days in Niagara Falls, NY - shoppped at some local outlet malls, and then over the border on New Years Eve Day, so we could meet some friends at a local bar and then enjoy our lobster, escargot, and other treats we had arranged for our dinner/evening.

We loaded up our skype video, and I connected with my 2 daughters Kennedy and Celeste, and husband Dave - while I was with my son, mom and dad. We played Skype hangman, checkers, and all the games we could and then did a live countdown with Dick Clark's Rocking New Year's Eve.

I am preparing for the clients that I will be meeting shortly on the Internet Marketers Cruise and then heading to the UK to speak at the Ultimate Listbuilding Event. Starting 2010 off with a bang.

While here, in the frigid cold, I will be helping to renovate my parents home as they prepare to sell it this spring. That's about my check in for now. About to watch the Rose Bowl Parade, and then start removing wallpaper.

I am so blessed as I start this 2010 surrounded by family, able to help others, soon to join my whole family on the cruise, and then off to help others walk the same path I did.

I hope your 2010 is filled with hope, possibilities and the reality of a new start and adventure for all of you.

Family, Fun and Christmas Cheer

The kids are off school, Celeste is heading to Knott's Berry Farm for a party, kids are doing sleep overs, Facebook is rampant with posts and greetings, and Twitter is actively setting the stage for a New Year of trend setting.

I am doing my last minute Christmas shopping, and my 2010 year end planning. Since I am away in Canada for 2 weeks with my family, then the Internet Marketers cruise for 2 weeks, (in which the whole family is coming with me), right now it's all about reflection and planning.

I am figuring out what I did right last year.
What I need to improve.
what I want for next year.
Doing the official month by month breakdown for 2010.
Teaching my clients how to do this, and getting them prepared.
Setting my 'mentor' goals - who I will be seeking out next year, and who I want to help next year.

I am setting up my charitable goals - because givers get more.

And I encourage you to do some reflection and planning, before the New Year's ball drops, because the next day, it's a brand new year, and time to start fresh.

For the next few posts, I am going to be posting some questions I have been getting about myself from clients and various interviews. I thought you might be interested in the answers, and be able to use some of them in your own life.

Question:

Now I know that as a busy and successful entrepreneur, there is not really such a thing as a TYPICAL day... But if you had to describe for us what an average day is like for you in your business right now - how would you describe it? What is your schedule like and what kinds of things are you doing each day?

Tracy Repchuk Answer:

I think in any business, you need an annual sales and marketing plan, a vision and mission statement, and to know what their week and day will look like. Sometimes because it is a home based business, people get casual about what they need to be doing. Or they don’t treat it like a business at all, because they feel they haven’t really started, they have just hired a mentor, or gotten a book. The minute you decide you want to have an internet based business – which can come in the form of you want to create a product such as a book, cd, dvd, coach, sell online – you have a business, and need to treat it, and your schedule like one.

So depending on the day, I have a typical outlook, and yes a lot of randomity can happen because my kids are actors and auditions and on set requirements can happen at any time, but at the beginning of each day, I already know what my day plan is.

So I start at 7am. Not because I am eager, but because my daughter is a swimmer and needs to be there by 5:30 or 6:30 depending on the day.
7-8am – I do client emails
8-9am – I do the outbound email blasts and blog posts – whatever that may be.
9-10am – Business implement (ie. My to do list)
10-11am – Client/mentoring
11-12 – morning wrap up tasks, clients, other emails, inquiries, new business
12-12:30 – lunch
1-4 – personal development – training/study/mindset/spirituality
(off location)
4pm – Take a class/learning for Internet Marketing skill
5pm – Interviews or webinar

Evenings – business streamlining and automation

In essence I work on my business now about 4 hours a day.
I work on myself 3 hours a day.
I help others 2 hours a day.
I learn new skills an hour a day

So I don't work that hard anymore, and have a more balanced approach between me and the business. When family needs me, most things are dropped. The beauty of it, is I have it automated and streamlined, so I do make money while I sleep. And I have the training streamlined and modularized, so new clients coming through are easy for me to handle. :)

Make money fast with Craigslist

I am always in search of ways for people to make money fast, while building their internet marketing empire. I have my 13 year old daughter building her business using ebay- an area she loves. I have known about Craigslist for years, but had never used it. We had 2 things I needed to get rid of -

1. A huge freestanding, cast iron fireplace - we had ripped this out of our living room, and despite asking everyone we knew if they wanted it (for free), nobody did. So we decided to take a few pictures and wrote up an ad (like we had learned from the ebay material), and posted it. We thought it would take us weeks to unload this, given the response we had from people we knew. Within minutes an email came in, asking to come see it. Then another, another, and 2 people started to call in a frenzy. Holy mackeral - we had priced this to sell, but with a bit of barter and wiggle room too - that we didn't need at all. A guy came, picked it up, paid full price, and left within one day.

2. My daughter had a big outdoor kitchen play set and shopping cart, along with a bunch of accessories she had accumulated, but needed to get rid of. It was too big to ship for ebay, so we listed that on craigslist as well. Again, in about 33 seconds we had a reply, and another, and another. Eventually we said full price, to the first who shows up to get it. A woman came, paid, and left.

3. Then we had purchased a couch 2 months ago, and left it in the warehouse. I didn't want to take our current couch to the garage, bring the new one in, and leave the other one in the garage to rot. It was a great couch, pull out bed, Ikea. I posted it on Craigslist, sold it within the hour - went and picked ours up from the warehouse, he took the old couch, and we put in the new couch - it was amazing.

So in 3 days we got over $300. Now I wasn't really looking for money, we were looking to get crap out of our garage that was too big for ebay - and we used ebay techniques to get it sold fast.

Now in case you are not familiar, Craigslist is a network of site for communities throughout the United States and around the globe. Initially, it was founded as a resource for the San Francisco Bay Area in 1995. By 2006, there was a Craigslist site representing each of 450 cities worldwide. With a few exceptions, advertising on Craigslist is free, and postings can be placed in myriad sections, all organized into major categories.

One of these major categories is the "for sale" section, where users can post ads to sell items in any of about thirty subcategories, auto parts to video and photo equipment. There are also areas to post items that you are looking for (in the "wanted" section) or to propose trades and swaps (in the "barter" section). Also included is a section for people to sell tickets to events and shows, such as concerts and sporting events.

Tickets can be found for a variety of prices, seats and dates. Some people want to get rid of their VIP dugout seats the same night, and others are selling $30 for a game next weekend. One can also find Arena Football tickets available. The real treasure trove, though, is the abundance of concert and event tickets available.

Network Marketing and the 4 Principles of Selection

Coming from an internet marketing background, I stumbled into network marketing before the popularity of membership sites when I was in search of a recurring revenue model. There were massive similarities in the way an network marketing opportunity should be marketed, and I noticed very quickly that wasn’t happening. Here is where I saw a great way to leap into the market, dominate using internet marketing techniques and create another stable income stream for myself, once again – on autopilot.

First, let me tell you why initially I didn’t consider network marketing in my model, and what changed all of that. It was the fact it seemed to take a lot of effort, tons of phone calls (which I don’t do), and involved stocking, or some physical element. My world was digital, and if I couldn’t automate it, it didn’t fit in my operating basis. The other reason, I didn’t see the fun in it.

Then along came a new world of digitally offered network marketing adventures, such as travel bookings, and I was in. Not only was this great because I never had to touch product, or order a personal quantity, but my internet marketing skills fit perfectly, and I love to travel. So tip #1 – pick something that fits in your ideal lifestyle.

What I do is create a landing page (which I recommend) to go in front of your NM offer, and list build. That way you have an instant audience that are interested in your offer (or they wouldn’t have opted-in), and all you have to do is close them – which I did with a series of automated autoresponder messages, and a monthly teleseminar. It was a match made in heaven.

So when you are considering getting into a network marketing endeavor, what I recommend is you follow the four P’s:

1. Price – how much is it to get in, and what is the monthly fee if any

2. Plan – does it pay on a recurring basis, and if there was a recurring fee, can you earn your way out of it – ie. Sell 4 members, no more monthly fee out of your pocket

3. Performance – what is the payout plan and is it front end heavy, or distributed over time – (I prefer a heavy front end payout, with small recurring increments)

4. People – is there a team above you willing to keep you trained, motivated, on target, and informed – even better, are they fun to be around.

Then compare all of these against your ideal lifestyle, and your passion, and you’re on your way to a great network marketing income stream.

How much is your time worth?

If you see yourself staring down fourteen-hour workdays in order to develop and run a successful Internet business, you may want to consider outsourcing.

Outsourcing simply means paying someone else to perform certain tasks for you. Of course, the turnoff word here for many people is “paying.” You’re starting a business with the intent of making money, not spending it—right?

In many cases, the money you spend for outsourcing will actually mean greater profits. By hiring an expert to handle those tasks that would take you longer due to your lack of experience, you save time—time which you can then spend doing those things you are experienced with. This translates to more profit with less effort on your part. If you think about it, outsourcing is like giving yourself an hourly raise.

You can outsource just about any task associated with your business. Your cash outlay will vary according to the type of work you want done. When it comes to choosing which tasks you should look for someone else to do for you, a good rule of thumb is “do your best, outsource the rest.” If a task involves skill areas you haven’t developed, hire an expert.

Here are just a few of the tasks you can easily outsource:

• Website content and copy writing
• Website design
• Website maintenance
• Internet research
• Data formatting
• Search engine submissions
• Sales letter writing

When considering outsourcing, a good formula to follow is to weigh the money you’ll spend against the time it would take you to do the task yourself. Estimate how many hours it would take you to complete a project, and then divide what it would cost to hire someone else by that number. If you end up with something around three or four dollars an hour, give outsourcing serious consideration. Your time would be best spent on other business-related projects.

Fine tuning and finding the missing link in your niche market

7 Ways to Create a Niche Product

First, find what is missing and fill it.

Once you’ve determined the best area for your business, it’s time to do some brainstorming and research. Find out what your industry is missing, and develop a product or service that will fill that need—this will be your niche.

Before you begin your brainstorming process, keep two things in mind.

One: have a notebook and pen with you at all times to write down ideas as they occur. And two: write down any idea that occurs, no matter how far-fetched it may seem. One of your crazy ideas might just develop into a viable niche product.

With that in mind, here are some ways to discover the missing link in your business area.

1. Improve an existing product. Have you ever bought something with great expectations, only to find out it didn’t quite meet your needs? Is there anything related to your business topic you can think of that could be improved—and do you think you can improve it? If you can make an existing product better, you can present your improvements to the existing market.

2. Adapt an existing product. You can “borrow” ideas from other business areas and adapt them to fit your niche. One way to do this is to determine a common problem in another market sector, find the solution that sector uses, and then adapt the solution to your target market.

3. Repackage an existing product. There are hundreds of reseller programs out there on the Internet. Reseller programs generally consist of e-books and e-courses on a number of subjects, which you can purchase the rights to and then resell for 100 percent profit. However, when it comes to reseller programs, many Internet marketers end up vying for a portion of a shared consumer group, since they’re all selling the exact same product to the same market.

4. If you’re interested in reseller programs, you can differentiate yourself from the crowd by combining multiple related products into a “package.” For example, you could combine web templates with script applications and an e-book on Internet marketing to create a complete product set for webmasters. There are endless combination possibilities available through reseller programs.

5. Solve a problem. Every business area has problems. Some are inherent, and some are generated by industry changes that can leave gaps to be filled. Discover some of the unmet problems in your business area by hanging around forums, message boards and blogs related to your topic. Find out what people are talking about, and try to identify what’s missing, then develop a product or service that will fill that need.

6. Tap a trend. What’s hot in your market today? Pay attention to advertisement on television, in magazines and newspapers, and on the Internet. Keep track of what types of products are generating the most interest, and then focus on your business area to find out how you can tap in to the trend.

An example: assume beauty products are currently popular (and generally, they are). If you’ve decided your niche market is new moms, you could write an ebook or series of tips designed to help moms with babies or young children save time and money in their daily beauty regimes.

7. Profit from the public domain. Every day, more copyrights expire. Books, movies, television shows, songs, and images enter the public domain and become available for anyone to use.

Public domain content can be used in a variety of ways to generate a viable business. You can recreate public domain books, modernize or alter their contents, and sell them as e-books. You can create calendars, posters, tee shirts, and other custom products using familiar public domain images. You can use public domain movie footage and audio content to create new products.

7 Tips for making the membership site make more money

In the previous posts we talked about getting people to sign up for the member site.

While this is an important step, it should not be done at the expense of running a great site. In other words, you want to make your customers happy. If you do, they’ll keep coming back.

Having a successful site means that you will provide great content and also find ways to increase your earnings.

Here are some ideas.

1. Promote affiliate programs

Are there certain products or services that you use all the time and recommend in your site? If this is the case, there’s nothing wrong with promoting the affiliate link. If customers trust that you won’t just promote anything and respect your opinion, this will increase your sales.

2. Don’t get overwhelmed

This is as much a tip for making more money as it is a case for simplicity. Customers don’t necessarily want a site that has a lot on it. They just want content that serves to teach them about the topic they are interested in.

A membership site is a good way to boost your income. However, it won’t be worth your energy if you make it too complicated. The easier it is to run, the better off you’ll be.

3. Make them want more

At the point when your site debuts, you’ll want to have enough content on there to satisfy your new customers. However, you also shouldn’t put all the content up there at first. Making them want more is a great way to give them a reason to come back which means they’ll be willing to renew their membership.

4. Get feedback

A great way to get your customers coming back for more is to have them give you feedback. This is an easy way to make sure all of their needs are being met as well. If you ask them their opinion and then implement their suggestions, they’ll feel as if they are a valued customer.

5. Great customer service

As with any business, providing your customers with excellent customer service is a big part of making your site successful. If you have great content and your rates are more than affordable but you don’t have excellent customer service, you may find that you don’t convert the one time customers into constant, paying members. Answer people’s emails. Try to help them solve their problems. If you don’t have the time to take care of this yourself, at least hire someone who does. Starting a membership site is easy. However, to keep it running, you need to focus on things like customer service in order to make it successful.

6. Don’t give up

This may sound obvious but if you aren’t seeing the results you want at first, don’t give up. There may be a part of your strategy that needs honing, but giving up may not be the best option. Sometimes, membership sites can take a little while to get going. If you give up too quickly you may never see the success you want.

Once you have the site up and running and decide on a pricing schedule, your next task is to entice people to sign up. There are several ways you can do this and it is a good idea to try each of these methods to maximize your signup rate.

1. Sell to your list
If you have a list, hopefully they are already accustomed to buying things from you. That’s because the list is a very powerful thing when it comes to selling your own products.

2. Create a list
If you don’t have a list set up yet – work to create one. You can offer a free teaser membership to the site by having people sign up for the list. Or, you can give something else away such as an ebook in your niche. You can use a landing page or bring them directly into the site -

3. Sales page
You’ll definitely need to create a sales page to send those who opt-in on your landing page to. If the sales page is highly effective then all you need to do is direct more traffic to the login or landing page to get signups. To determine if it’s effective, you’ll need to test it by watching opt-ins to those who buy.

4. Market the sales page
This may seem obvious but once the sales page is up and running, you’ll want to market it using any means you can think of. You can put a link for it on your blog or website, use social networking, do article marketing, create Squidoo lenses, etc. Basically, employ any means you’d use to market a standard website.

5. Start an affiliate program
This one is really fun. Once you get the affiliate program up and running, just start an affiliate program. That means that other people will promote your landing page to their lists and you’ll reach a wider range of people. Granted, it will cut out into your profits but this is an easy way to get people coming to your site.

If you use a membership site product such as Amember it will have a built-in affiliate program, plus easily turns new members into affiliates - creating members for life. How? If a member sells just 2 memberships, theirs is conceptually free - so why would they ever leave?

This list of ways to get people to sign up for the site is by no means complete.

Be creative, use blogs, forums, ezine ads, and if your sales page converts well, invest in a Google Adwords/PPC campaign.

All that is left is seeing how many members will get you financially free.

Deciding on Price for Your Membership Site

How to decide on a price schedule for your membership site

Another key decision you’ll need to make is figuring out a pricing schedule for the site. Of course, you can choose to make it free but that should only be done for a specific purpose such as building your list or getting people interested in the full membership.

In general, you’ll want to choose a price your future customers will want to pay for. Sometimes it’s hard to gauge until you set a price and see what happens. If it’s too low, people may suspect that the content is lacking. If it’s too high, you may have a hard time getting people to sign up, depending on the niche.

Either way, choose a price that you think makes sense and then give it at least a month. If membership isn’t quite what you expect, alter it accordingly.

There are also different things you can do in terms of when the customers get billed for the site. Here are the choices

• One time fee
On this kind of site, users pay only once. The membership could expire after a certain point which often happens with things like courses or if the content is limited.

• Lifetime membership
This is a variation of the one time fee. The difference is that the site membership will never expire and you’ll have access as long as the site is running.
Why do people do this type - chance to sell many other smaller items and affiliate offerings easily and conveniently.

• Charge them monthly
This is probably the most common. A monthly membership fee also gives you a steady income to rely on each month provided you have a steady rate of memberships. This is my preferred method.

• Yearly rate
Some membership sites charge a yearly fee. This is a good idea if you aren’t sure when you’ll update the content or if the site is well established and easy to run.
This is also good when you have a years worth of content, you can offer the same stuff as the monthly, only full access, give them an up-front discount for full payment, yet get a chunk of money without worrying when they opt-out.

Keep in mind that you can offer your customers a number of membership options. For example, some sites charge a monthly rate and also a yearly rate. If you do the math, the yearly rate is usually a better bargain if you can find the cash.

The actual price you set for these, the answer to that is to test it.

Once you have made your plan for your membership site, it's time to get some content ideas.

CONTENT OPTIONS FOR YOUR SITE

At some point, you’ll need to decide on what kind of content you will offer your customers in the membership site. You can basically do whatever you want but your choices need to be a perfect balance of making your customers happy and not making your life too complicated.

TYPES OF CONTENT TO PUT ON YOUR SITE

If you’ve ever been part of a membership site then you probably have an idea of what to expect. You may want to become a member of a site or two so you can get a feel for how they work. With that said, here’s a list of some of the types of content you can have on it.

1. Articles - serve a dual purpose - you can also submit these to article directories and get some traffic back to your site

2. Blog posts - you can make it the type of site where you post, and get comments on the topic of the day or week

3. Ebooks - you can provide a free ebook of the week

4. Audios/Interviews - these are always good content - and easy to make. You can hold a teleseminar with a topic and then provide the content here, or interview an expert and provide insights from someone else for the club. Either way - this is one simple way to get content

5. Forum - you could have a forum, my only warning here is if you don't have someone manage that, it could get overwhelming. Somebody has to manage, watch bad posts, unfortunately not everone is out to benefit from what you have to offer

6. Videos - training videos, step by step, week by week, whatever works to take them from point A to point B

Bear in mind that the most complicated membership site isn’t always the best.

If you keep it simple and you’re consistent, customers will still be very pleased as long as your content provides value to them.

The key here is to know that content is the easy part, so don't avoid membership sites thinking you have nothing to say, or put in there.

There are actually several different kinds of membership sites you can create. Some are difficult to create, others are quite simple. But how do you know which kind suits your site?

There are several ways to arrive at your decision. You can decided based on

• How much work you want to put in creating the site.

• Whether or not you want a simple format or one that has a lot of bells and whistles.

• How much time you plan on spending updating the site and providing content.

• Whether or not you want to create a community setting.

• Whether or not you want to outsource to set the site up or if you have the skills to do it yourself

That list is by no means complete but it can get you started as you think about what components you want on the site. Here is a short list of the types of membership sites out there.

• Autoresponder based membership site
Just collect the payments and the content gets sent to their email. This is the easiest to implement.

• Standard membership site
You can set up your membership site as if you would a regular website. The only difference is that a login is required. These sites can have articles, a forum, a blog, etc. It will all depend on what is right for the niche.


• Fixed Term membership site
This is where you offer a site for a specific duration, and they pay you in chunks, or up front. You can then decide whether it is autoresponder based or standard.

Next decide how to get content to them, and what type of content you want to deal with and, let's not forget - where are you going to get the content.

The first thing you need to decide is if you will set up a free membership site or a paid membership site. There are some good points for each.

Benefits of a Free Membership Site

• Can help you build a list
• Entice people into the full membership
• To protect your sensitive content
• Build a sense of community among members

Benefits of a paid membership site

• Make more money internet marketing
• Develop a loyal customer base
• Have a steady stream of passive income
• Build a sense of community among members

Those lists are by no means complete. However, it is a good list to help you decide if you want to take their money or not. Keep in mind that one membership site can have a free and a paid version. The free version can help you build your list and also be used as a teaser to get people into the full membership.

My membership site Internet Success University is both. You can get in, and see a few things, which helps me to build a list, and be able to continue to communicate the benefits to them about why they would join.

The other thing you can do is if they don't join after a while, offer a trial membership for $1 - and get them to see what it's like. If your site is good, they'll stay.

• They don’t need to be complicated

A lot of people assume that a membership site is complicated. Not necessarily. There are plenty of options that are simple, such as exclusive content delivered via autoresponder.

Let’s look at the math. say you have a membership site that offers exclusive content related to your niche. If you charge $19.95 a month and have 100 subscribers, that translates to nearly $2000 profit and all you needed to do was refresh the content and make sure the site is running properly. I charge $47 a month for my club, at 500 members, that is $24,957 per month. :)

That is what a membership site will do.

There are many different ways you can make money with your internet business. Most people first starting out either promote affiliate products or they decide to have their own product.

For many, this product is often an e-book. While it is possible to make good money selling e-books, that is only one option. Another option is to start a membership site.

The two aren’t necessarily mutually exclusive. In fact, a good internet business sells several different products so that they can have income coming in from several different sources. The main point is that a membership site can seriously boost your income.

When people buy an e-book once they make the purchase you probably won’t get any more money from that sale. With a membership site (and this will depend on the type of payment schedule you decide on) the customer will pay you more than once.

Facebook is a powerful promotion tool, offering Google Adwords type features, at a much more targeted audience, and many free methods to get the word out.

Here are the top 8 ways to use facebook to promote

1. Whether it's a website landing page, a blog with affiliate marketing, or any other type of product or service you want to promote, you start with the contact list. Then, you use the features of the site to help get the word out by starting to use the features that tend to be more “newsy” and viral. For Facebook, these features start the ball rolling quite nicely:

2. Status updates – This is a feature where you get to broadcast to your friends what you are doing. You can also add links there to different pages on the Internet. Try to include valuable information and not just a link to a sales page, because it can get you some unwanted notice from the admins. But, other than that, you can use it to lead traffic back to your website, blogs, articles, and any other content you want to promote on the web.

3. Comment on other people's updates – What's the point of sending out information only to your own friends? Why not hook into other friends and add a link where appropriate? When you comment on the status, it goes into the newsfeed and their friends see it too. It also gets put on their wall. Just don't spam or solicit overtly and you should be fine.

4. Share a link, post – Like some web post or article you saw online? Why not share the link or post on your wall? Your friends will see it in the newsfeed and it will stay on your wall too.

5. Upload photos and comment – Photos tend to gather much more attention than text. So, add some good photos and link them to your niche or market. If they get commented on a lot, they can go viral fairly quickly.

6. Create your own application – It's not as hard as it sounds since it's basically just a collection of images. Then, you add it to the application market place and wait for others to install it. You can put your URL in various places and gather a lot of promotion this way.

7. Promote a blog on Facebook – There are a number of people who have set up blog networks on Facebook and can be a great way to network your blog with other bloggers, create more friends from subscribers, and promote the heck out of your blog. If your blog has advertising on it, you can even make some nice change.

8. Facebook Event - if you're having an event, or a teleseminar simply create a facebook event, and others will see it from all over. You can also promote the event link in any of the above methods as well - doubling your exposure.

Here are few ways to start building contacts in your demographics to increase your online exposure:

1. Join the right networks – When you first start, Facebook will ask you to pick a network(s), which will either be a school or a geographical location. Pick an area where you are thinking of doing the most business, or where you have the most contacts. Once in that network, you can get friends from there by browsing profiles that area available for people within that network.

2. Leverage friends of friends – So, you've signed up, gotten a few friends, and noticed that (wow!) one of your friends has thousands of friends. Take a look at the friends list and see if you know of any or if they are in your network. Then, ask them to friend you. Remember to keep it slow and steady, less than 20 or 30 a day.

3. Join groups – Join groups and then post to the wall. Befriend group members in the same group. There are even groups for people with no friends who want more friends, but that's not targeted to your demographic. You should pick a group that is targeted to your demographic.

4. Have fun! - Set up applications and join fun games and activities that expose you to more people online. It's best to pick an application that has something to do with your niche, so that you are attracting the right core group. So, if you were interested in marketing green products, you might join the L'il Green application to meet more people there by maintaining their online plants. There are literally thousands of applications you can investigate and leverage to create more friends on your targeted list.

13 Year Old Daughter Wants to Quit School and Be an Entrepreneur

My daughter wants to quit school and be an entrepreneur.

Now many of you may be shocked by that headline, but when she asked me if she could quit school, I didn't freak out - I asked Why?

Her answer, well you're an entrepreneur, and the way I see it, I'm an entrepreneur too, so why learn stuff at school, why not just learn what I want to be in business for, and start right now. (seems good to me - I started my first business at age 19, right out of college, but if I had the internet I am certain I would have started at her age too :)

To say I was proud, was an understatement. I almost burst with glee - but - we do live in a society that requires a child be educated.

So what did I do?

Thankfully, I am an advocate for being self employed. Taking what you love to do, and making money from it. The beauty of this, is ANYONE can do it. It's what I teach in all of my mentor programs. But, I needed to solve the 'society' dilemma, and there it was on TV, while I was surfing for home renovation shows, and that was an online school that equaled the education at a school, but you could do it online.
Same curriculum, same graduation, just do it from home.

How perfect - Grade 6 to 12 - she could 'be legal' - do school work on her terms, and build a business at the same time. So the test begins.

We applied for the school - it isn't just a matter of signing up online. Transcripts needed to be transferred, records, reports, standardized testing, the works.

Fortunately, she is a perfect candidate. She is a straight A student, she was in an advanced program already at her school, she is a member of the National Association of Gifted Children - something she was inducted into based on her test scores, and we work from home, so we can easily monitor her progress... and voila - a few weeks later she was informed she was in.

So now, she will split her days between school, and discovering her entrepreneurial spirit. But what made me mention this now, was when I put on the Dreams To Reality Success Summit in Los Angeles this year, Celeste met a guy named Adam Ginsberg. Top 5 Crappy Subject Lines in Internet Marketing

The Top 5 crap subject lines in Internet Marketing

... and no, free isn't one of them.

Some times you just have to rant, and today is one of those days.

Email subject lines - I have become such an advocate for effective and respectful email subject lines that I have been invited to speak at the Association of Strategic Marketing National Conference

My topic: Writing Effective Emails and Subject Lines: Getting Your Email to Arrive and Thrive.

They assigned the topic to me, so it has me looking pretty heavy at what is going on right now.

And you know things have turned into a free for all marketing fest with people grabbing ruthlessly at sales in any way they can, when I get subject lines that say:

#1 Get this!

- Could that be any more unimaginative – like they had 3 seconds to get out an email and attempt to make some sales today

#2 - It's Crazy.... this is crazy... Jim has gone Crazy...

- this has become one of the most abused word in internet marketing and I for one hope it is failing.

Nobody is going crazy, nobody has lost their minds, they are looking for a way to make a sale today and this is it. The price isn't insanity - it's bad enough people are labeled with this - but now every action you take is also insane. Then why would I buy from you?

#3 - I'm sorry, oops, will you forgive me?

Are you trying to show us you are in such a rush to get people's money that you made a mistake? Mistakes happen, I know that, I have done them, but the problem with overused tactic #3 is now when we make them for real, it's a gimmick. The truth has been removed completely from these phrases.

#4 - dude
Do I even have to comment on this one? I got this, that's as interesting as "Hey"

#5 - I have really bad news

Then they proceed to tell you their product has sold out.

Bad news is my house burned down, a family member is sick, I broke my leg, the economy is still getting worse, I went bankrupt -that is bad news.

Your product sold out is not bad news. Missing out on that opportunity - is not bad news.

Why do you make your subscribers feel like crap. Why not just say "You are a loser for not buying. If you continue to be this stupid, you'll be living in on the streets." And I'm amazed that more don't opt out with that combination.

And for the latest trend - putting a RE: in front, like you communicated with them first :)

RE: you wanting to buy my stuff...

As someone who respects copywriting, and internet marketing done right, if you see emails with stuff like this, check it out and maybe start to follow some other people instead.

It's your in-box, make sure you are treated right.

6. Have reliable merchant processing in place that can handle volume
7. If you have physical product, have a great call center and fulfillment house
with enough stock for a pilot/test run
8. Before you do any of this, have a stable and converting product with upsells, downsells and a backend so that you can recoup your lead fees fast, and take advantage of the flood gates of traffic and subscribers you will have.

This is where mentors make you money, not cost you, because one jump at an investment like this, or others, can cost you thousands... be prepared and have a mentor that is reliable, and knows what is best for you - until you do!

Web 3.0 Marketing Technology Will Revolutionize The Internet Marketing Industry - Review of Streamline Funnel System

Just Released Web 3.0 Marketing Technology Will Revolutionize The Internet Marketing Industry...Don't Miss This!

Okay - sounds pretty impressive right.

This is the opening line of the Streamline Funnel System - which when you hear it - sounds too good to be true.

First - let's start with what is web 3.0?

It is true automation and you make money.

It is a no-brainer system.

Well I have been part of the beta and pre-launch, and finally I can report back to you the results.

When I describe this - it will probably sound weird.

Remember, it is web 3.0 - for real, among the first. (I first heard the term web 3.0 from GotAccess)

Here is the ABC of it: (numbers are approximate - but what I have seen so far for me)

1. You spend $9.95 (review for 3 days) then $40 to get a membership. During that 3 day review, you can't do much but see if you get automated sign ups, and see what's in the back end - which frankly isn't much. You can listen to the video logs and see how the system started and progressed.

2. When the $40 option a month kicks in, your link gets sent out to 10,000 people (along with 24 other people's link) The issue here is - it goes out about 21 days after the first of the month - so checking for results in the beginning can be disheartening. Until your link is sent, it's a love it and leave it system.

3. The initial launch open rate was 2% = 200 opens. The success ratio of purchasing is 20% - which means 40 people buy in. Which means you get about 5 members - it pays you $15 commission for each one = $75 (200/25 = 8)

4. Not a fortune - but you doubled your money. More than most can say for doing nothing.

5. You also make 50% on upgraded lead packages purchased by your subscribers. Add about a 2% conversion on this - and that's another $100. = $175 so far.

6. For your first month - see if it works then you buy an upgraded lead package yourself. (so instead of splitting the 40 sales - they are all yours) 40x15 = $600 - you paid $100 for the package.

Profit each month = $275 x 2 exponentially each month.
= approximately = $71,680 a year - that's if you did nothing.

On total automatic.

This may sound confusing, impossible, weird....

Internet Marketing Has Turned to a Messy Free for All

I don’t know about you guys, but I have been getting bombarded with emails.
And not only the people I subscribed to, but lately, it is like every scammy, network marketing or internet marketing based get rich quick scheme is getting through my system.

I received 38 messages about the Launch Tree, that has been each day during the launch. It is getting crazy, with a touch of desperate. And I'm not picking on this launch, because last week it was something else, and the week before something else but

it no longer feels like marketing, but a free for all grab at anyone willing to listen.

So the industry is going to need to change.

People are already shutting off, shutting down, ignoring emails, but worst of all – now they’re doing nothing.

They are waiting until it feels safe to listen, select, do, or commit to.

All I can say is it’s time to clean up who you are listening to.

It’s time to unsubscribe to a whole bunch of people that are only selling at you, and never sharing with you.

Because it is only getting worse.

And even with my experience, I’m like “Holy mackerel guys I know we have to market, but this is insanity.” And maybe it was always like this, the 40 emails a day about the same thing from every person you receive emails from - but the issue now is
with 10 people or 20 people launching something throughout the month, that is a flood of way too much information, that is going to confuse you, overwhelm you, and worse –

Stop You.

I just wanted to share that with you today, and leave with a couple of words if advice:

1. Start unsubscribing to 80% of who you follow.
Go to your inbox and sort on the 'from' field

Ask yourself 2 questions -

1. Have I bought from them – if yes, stay on
2. Do I read what they send – if yes, stay on

If an email seems to come in and you glance and do nothing – unsubscribe
If you don't even recognize the person - unsubscribe

It is time to reduce the noise, go back to basics, and get quiet.
Turn to a few good friends/internet marketers that you follow and get what you need from them.

Once you have done whatever it is they teach, actually implemented their ideas, then add someone else.

Don’t subscribe any more for free gifts you don’t need, until you have a safe
Inbox to read from. More than likely you have at least 50 Free gifts on your hard drive you haven’t even looked at, read or implemented.

2. Spend the free time you will have not getting overwhelmed by your email,
going through what you have on your hard drive and read, implement, use, or
resell.

That’s a good start for today. As I figure out more ways to create a better learning environment for you, I’ll pass them on.
