I am always amazed when the very first question people ask me is

"HOW DO I GET MORE TRAFFIC"

Really - are you ready?

Do you have a landing page and a sales page ready to go?

If not, you're not ready for more traffic.

And if you are, there are so many ways to get traffic, it is just a matter of doing them, and then excelling at a few that your site seems to respond well to.

For me, I always recommend that you take advantage of articles.

Creating an article, optimizing it for keywords in your niche, and then creating a powerful resource box that drives traffic to your landing page is a fantastic strategy for traffic, and for creating viable back links that Google will take notice of, and start to increase your page rank.

If you're not doing articles, you are missing a very important way to get traffic.

Create at least 10 articles, get them out there, and then sit back and watch the back links and your traffic grow. Then, repeat, repeat, repeat, and then take a look at another way to get traffic. The more you invest time wise into organic traffic streams, the more stable your traffic will be.

Do you have any tips for writing articles that get picked up fast?

I have been trying but dont seem to be benefiting much from submitting articles.

Hi Sally,
If you're article is unique, has been written with keyword optimization, and contains helpful information with a great headline -that is the formula I have found does well. I write all of my own articles, I make them unique headlines that are catchy
ie. Top 4 Websites You Need to Succeed

And I give great information. That is how you'll get picked up, and start to receive traffic.

The other thing you need though for article traffic to work, is a way to capture them, so all of your articles need to send traffic to a landing page, or you have no way of monitoring the success or failure of an article campaign.
